Lolly stick plenary
Mentioned this in an earlier blog. I have used the green, orange and red tubs in a plenary twice this week, both with GCSE classes. I handed out the lolly sticks with their names on, then at the end of the lesson I asked them to put their stick in the appropriate tub on their way out: red = struggling with what was covered in the lesson, orange = getting there, green = nailed it! When they had gone, I wrote the names down of all those who had put their names in the red and orange boxes, to inform my planning for next lesson. I am happy with it because it is so simple to set up and really useful for me. So again, thank you @morganmfl for planting this seed in my head!
